DIED OF FLU & WAR WOUNDS. SERVED IN SOUTH AFRICA IN THE 158TH & 11TH HULL HEAVY BATTERY. HE LEFT £192 IN HIS WILL TO HIS FATHER, A RETIRED BUTCHER. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS MOTHER ELEANOR.
