HE ENLISTED IN HULL. POSTED TO FRANCE, ON 27/01/1915. SERVED WITH THE 1ST EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT. KILLED IN ACTION, ON 27/02/1916, AGED 33. HE IS BURIED AT CITE BONJEAN MILITARY CEMETERY, ARMENTIERES, FRANCE.

UNMARRIED. BOTH PARENTS DECEASED. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS BROTHER, PTE, HENRY MCLOUGHLIN, 34606, 2ND NORTH STAFFS REGIMENT IN RAWALPINDI, INDIA. HIS OTHER BROTHER, JOHN MCLOUGHLIN, EYR, DIED ON WOUNDS, ON 31/03/1918. HIS OTHER BROTHER, LUKE McLOUGHLIN, EX EYR, DIED IN HULL, IN 1918. THEY LEFT AN ELDER SISTER, MARGARET ELLEN IBBOTSON.
