BORN HULL 1879. SON OF ANDREW McMILLAN & FANNY (VOKES) MCMILLAN,OF 33 ETON STREET, HESSLE ROAD, HULL.

HE MARRIED IN 1910. HIS WIFE EDITH ANNIE (HARRISON), LIVED AT 1, LAUREL GROVE, PULMAN STREET, HULL (CWGC ADDRESS).

HE WORKED AS A WAREHOUSE MAN FOR MESSRS. LOFTHOUSE & SALTMER’S CHEMICAL STORES.

HE SERVED AS PRIVATE, 7558, 2ND ROYAL SCOTS DUSILIERS. WAS KILLED BY A SHELL SPLINTER TO THE TEMPLE WHEN RAISING HIS HEAD ABOVE THE TRENCHES. HIS DIED ON THE 14/11/1914, AGED 35. HIS DEATH WAS WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL ON 31ST DECEMBER 1914, BY HIS BROTHER IN LAW, MR C G IRVING, AT 194, DIVISION ROAD, HULL.

HIS DEATH AND PHOTOGRAPH IS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL AND HULL TIMES ON 12TH DECEMBER 1914. *
