BORN HULL 1889. SON OF WILLIAM AGNES AND MARY HANNAH HUZZARD, 80 WALCOTT STREET. MARRIED HULL 1912. HIS WIFE ETHEL (LYONS) AND THREE CHILDREN LIVED AT THIS CWGC ADDRESS. HE WAS A TIMBER SAWYER BY TRADE BEFORE THE WAR. SERVED AT SEA. LOST WITH ALL HANDS ON THE STEAM TRAWLER ‘SEBASTIAN’, ON 22/05/1915, AGED 26. HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL TIMES 19/06/1915.

On May 22nd, 1915, the British steel trawler SEBASTIAN left Hull, and went missing. She was not heard of ever since. All nine crew are commemorated on the Tower Hill Naval Memorial, London.
