HE MARRIED, HELEN HOGG, (BORN 20/3/1877), IN GLANFORD, LINCS, IN 1898. WORKED AS A RULLYMAN FOR ROBSON’S BREWERY, IN HULL.

HIS WIFE, HELEN & FIVE CHILDREN LIVED AT 41 , LINCOLN STREET, HULL (1911 CENSUS); 80, RAYWELL STREET, HESSLE ROAD, HULL AND 1, CHURCH STREET, DRYPOOL, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESSES). HIS DEPENDENT CHILDREN WERE, ROSE HELEN, GEORGE HERBERT, PERCY, WALTER AND CONA. HIS WIDOW WAS AWARDED A WEEKLY WAR PENSION, OF 37 SHILLINGS, 11 PENCE.

HE ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED WITH THE 25TH TYNESIDE IRISH. HE DIED BETWEEN THE 21ST & 23RD MARCH 1918, AGED 42.

HE IS COMMEMORATED ON THE ARRAS MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
