HE LIVED IN HULL. ENLISTED IN BEVERLEY. FORMERLY, PRIVATE, 20566, YORKSHIRE REGIMENT. TRANSFERRED TO THE 9TH YORK & LANCS. DIED OF WOUNDS, ON 30/05/1917, AGED 29.

HIS YOUNG BROTHER, ROBERT MATTHEW SKELTON, 4TH YORKSHIRE REGIMENT, WAS KILLED IN ACTION, ON 11/04/1918, AGED 20.
