BORN CAISTOR 1891. ELDEST SON OF GEORGE CECIL STORRY (1859-1926) & LUCY DIXON STORRY (1862-1950), OF 8, LINDUM PARADE, HEDON ROAD HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESS) AND 36, COLTMAN STREET, HULL. SON OF A CARGO SUPINTENDENT. ONE OF THREE CHILDREN. HE HAD ONE SISTER ETHEL MARY STORRY AND ONE BROTHER, HERBERT. EDUCATED AT HULL GRAMMAR SCHOOL. EMPLOYED AS A SHIPPING CLERK.

HE ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED IN THE 1/4TH EYR (HULL RIFLES). POSTED TO FRANCE IN JULY 1915. KILLED IN ACTION, ON 16/04/1916, AGED 25. BURIED IN BELGIUM. UNMARRIED. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS FATHER.
HIS NAME IS LISTED ON THE HULL GRAMMAR SCHOOL MEMORIAL WITH HIS BROTHER HERBERT M. STORRY.
