BORN HULL 1889. WIFE ANNIE WINCHESTER LIVED AT THIS ADDRESS. HE WAS SECOND HAND, ON THE STEAM TRAWLER, ‘SEBASTIAN’. LOST AT SEA ON 22/05/1915, AGED 26, WITH ALL 9 CREW.
Sebastian was a 172 GRT steam trawler completed in 1906 by Mackie & Thomson for Hellyer’s Steam Fishing Co. Ltd. On May 22nd, 1915, the ‘SEBASTIAN’ left Hull, and went missing. She was not heard of ever since.
