Married on 04/02/1893. Lived with his wife, Betsy Ann and three children, at 17 Oakland Villas, Marshall Street, Newland Avenue, Hull (War Pension & Army address).

Served as Gunner, 382020, East Riding, Royal Garrison Artillery. Discharged on 06/02/1919, with rheumatism and lumbago aggravated by war service. Awarded Silver Badge (No:B345169). Died on 01/09/1922, aged 49.
