Enlisted at Woolwich, London, on 08/12/1914. Served as Bombardier, 54386, 62nd, Royal Field Artillery. Posted to France on 01/06/1915. Returned to England, on 17/03/1918. Discharged from the army on 17/05/1918. Died of Tuberculosis, on 05/03/1921. Buried at Kirkley, Suffolk, England.
