Bott, George William

Born Skipsea, Hull, 1887. Son of William Bott (1849-1928) and Hannah Maria Bott (1848-1889), of 68, Carlton Street, Hull (War Pension address). He had two brothers and one sister.

Enlisted Warwick. Served as Private, 15286, 2nd Warwickshire Regiment. Killed in action, on 04/05/1917, aged 29.

Commemorated on the Arras Memorial, France. His army effects were left to his father, William Bott.

His brother, Harold Lempkin Bott, served in the Merchant Navy and was lost of the Steamship “Lawrence” on 03/10/1914, aged 30.
