Born Ferriby Sluice, South Ferriby, Lincs, 1892. Son of Percival Willerton Hebblewhite (1856-1925), and Sophia Hebblewhite (1855-1935), of South Ferriby, Barton-on-Humber, Lincs. He had four brothers and three sisters. A Joiner, living at South Ferriby Hull
Enlisted at Barton-on-Humber, Lincs. Formerly, Sapper, 204384, Royal Engineers. Transferred to the 20th Lancashire Fusiliers. Killed in action, on 22/10/1917, aged 26.
He is remembered on the family grave at South Ferriby churchyard.
He is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium. His army effects were left to his father, Percival.
