Born Bridlington, 1894. Son of Fred King (1869-1922) and Annie Elizabeth Cox (1872- ), of 3, High Street Cottages, Bridlington (1911 Census) and 80, Newstead Street, Hull (War Pension address). He was a factory boy.
Enlisted Hull, on, 29/10/1915. Served as a Gunner, in the 27th (Reserves), Royal Filed Artillery. Discharged on 25/02/1916, with Tuberculosis. Died at Bridlington, on 15/04/1918, aged 23.
