Atkin, John Henry

Born Loughborough, Leicestershire, 1898. Eldest Son of Alfred and Mary Jane Atkin, of 59, Campbell Street, Hull (War Pension address). He had two brothers and two sisters.

Enlisted at Beverley. Served in the 1st Cameronian (Scottish Rifles). Killed in action, on 21/09/1918, aged 19. Buried in France.

His army effects were left to his mother, Mary Jane.
