Daniels, Sidney

Born Rainham, Kent, 1894. Son of Wardle Bentley Daniels and Caroline Daniels, of 5, St. John’s Cottages, East Court, Gillingham, Kent. Labourer At Cement Factory (1911 Census).

He enlisted in Hull. Served as Gunner, “Y” 50th T.M. Bty., Royal Field Artillery. Died of wounds, on 23/08/1918, aged 24.

Died of wounds. Buried in France. His grave inscription reads, SOLDIER OF CHRIST WELL DONE ENTER THY MASTER’S JOY.
