Pentith, Harold Horace

Born Hull, 1890. Son of Charles Edward Pentith and Jane L Pentith, of 41, Landsdowne Street, Hull (1911 census), 108, South Parade, Anlaby Road, Hull (War pension address) and Bridlington. Son of a Pickle manufacturer. he had two brothers and one sister.

Enlisted at Scarborough. Served in the 9th Yorkshire Hussars (Alexandra, Princes of Wales’ Own). Died of wounds, at the 38th Casualty Clearing Station, on 12/07/1916, aged 26.

Buried at Heilly Station Cemetery, France.

His army effects were left to his sister, Lottie Louisa.
