Enlisted at Hull, on 7th October 1914. Served as Guardsman, 1st Coldstream Guards. Posted to France, on 31st August 1915. Discharged on 29th April 1919, with Bronchitis.
Awarded the Silver War Badge (No: B192864), British War Medal and Victory Medal.
Died in Hull, on 27th January 1922, aged 27.
