Diment, George

Born Kingston-on-Thames, Surrey, 1886. Son of Charles Richard Diment and Sarah Diment, of 6, Cowleaze Road, Kingston-on-Thames (CWGC address) and 39, Strawberry Street, Holderness Road, Hull (War Pension Address).

A professional Soldier when war began, serving with the 1st KOYLI in China and Hong Kong (1911 Census).

He enlisted at Kingston-on-Thames. Served with the 10th King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. Killed in action, on 04/10/1917, aged 31. Buried at Polygon Wood Cemetery, Belgium.
