Enlisted at Mill Hill. Formerly served with the West Yorkshire Regiment (Prince of Wales’s Own). Transferred to the 14th Training Reserve
Died of Pneumonia, at Staffordshire, England., on 10/01/1917, aged 28. Buried at Rugeley, Cannock Chase District, Staffordshire, England.
His army effects were left to his widow, Beatrice, who re-married on 19/1/1918 and became Mrs Baker.
