Clulow, Albert Victor

Born Bethnal Green, East London, 1892. Son of John and Julia Clulow. His father was a Royal Marine who died when Albert was five years old. The family mother and two sisters, then moved into Bethnal Green, Workhouse.

Albert becames a Cardboard Cutter, living with his brother in law, at 130F Gretton Houses, Bethnal Green (1911 Census).

He married Clara Woodhouse, at Hull in 1916. Husband of Clara Clulow, of 19, Goodrick Terrace, Cave Street, Beverley Road, Hull (CWGC address).

He enlisted at Leicester. Served in the 8th Leicestershire Regiment. Killed in action, on 03/05/1917, aged 26.

Buried at London Cemetery, Neuville-Vitasse, France. His Grave inscription, reads, EVER REMEMBERED
