Dyson, Albert, MM

Born St Michaels, Rotherham, 14th July 1893. Enlisted Rotherham in 1914. Son of Albert Ernest Dyson (1869-1944) and Charlotte Richardson (1871-1926), of 40, Greasbro Street, Thornhill, Rotherham. Employed as a Brass Caster, in Rotherham.

Married at Hessle. Husband oh Julia Elizabeth of 9, Brunswick Road, Hessle, Hull (War Pension address).

Served in the 13th York and Lancaster Regiment. Killed in action, on 12/04/1918, aged 25. Awarded the Military Medal during the action he was killed. Commemorated on the Ploegsteert Memorial, Belgium.
