Born Grimsby, 1868. Son of Gorge Baglee (1824-1906) and Ann Shaw (1829-1892).
Married on 15 Nov 1892 • Great Grimsby, Lincolnshire. Husband of Edith Marion Kirkham (1873-1969), of 4 Alexandra Avenue, Mayfield Street, Hull (1911 Census) 25 Haltemprice Street, Hawthorne Avenue, Hull (War Pension address). Their som, Percy enlisted at Hull and served with the Royal Engineers and Signals, surviving the war.
Pter James Baglee was a former Solder and Customs Officer.
He enlisted on 31 Oct 1914. Served in the 21st Rifle Brigade, and 2/5th Bedfordshire Regiment. Discharged on 16 June 1917. Awarded the Silver War Badge (No: 218477) and the British War Medal and Victory Medal. Died on 8 May 1919. Buried in a CWGC grave, at Grimsby. His widow Edith lived to be 96 years old.
