Born Beverley. Son of Thomas Marshall Clubley and the late Hannah Clubley. Stepson of Mrs. Ada SarahClubley, of 32, St. Andrew Street, Beverley.
Enlisted at Beverley. Served in the 6th East Yorkshire Pioneers. Killed at Gallipoli on 09/08/1915, aged 35. Commemorated on the Helles Memorial, Turkey.
His army effects were left to his father, Thomas Marshall Clubley. His step mother applied for his war pension, but was refused.
