A former Groom. Described as 5 foot, 6.5 inches tall, 37.5 inch chest, brown hair, grey eyes, scar on right forearm.
Joined the Royal Navy on 21 Apr 1914. Served as Ordinary Seaman, Royal Navy, HMS Victory and HMS Irresistible. Died of pneumonia, on 15/11/1914, aged 20, at Chatham Naval Hospital.
