Mr and Mrs Arnold. from 14 Worship Street, lost their only son John, two days before the war ended.
Private, Arthur Mowforth, 2nd East Yorkshires, died of wounds in Greece on 1st June 1917. He was the son of George & Ruth Mowforth at 40 Louis Street. He was 21 years old.
