16.09.1914 Formed at Beverley, Yorkshire as part of the Second New Army (K2) in the 50th Brigade of the 17th Division, then moved to Wareham.
May 1915 Moved to Romsey.

BORN HULL 1898. SON OF ANNIE HARDY AND THE LATE WALTER HARDY, AT 118, HODGSON STREET, HULL (HDM ADDRESS, 17/08/1915). HE WAS AN APPRENTICE, FOR 'HANGER, WATSON AND HARRIS', STONEFERRY.
