Born, Hull, 17th September, 1894. Son of James Edward and Jane Booth, of Sunk Island, Hull, Yorkshire, England. Enlisted in Canada. Served with the 42nd Canadian Infantry (Quebec Regiment). Died of multiple wounds at Etaples Hospital on 20/09/1917, aged 23. (Gunshot wounds, to back, spine, right shoulder and legs)
