Born Halstead, Essex, 1863. Husband of Elizabeth Todd, at 13, St George Terrace, Redbourne Street, Hull (War Pension address). He was a Merchant Seaman. Served in the Royal Navy. Awarded the Silver War Badge. Died of wounds, on 23/01/1920
Alfred John Briscol, served on HM Fleet “Messenger Hillingholme”. He was killed in action, on 20/04/1916, in the North Sea.
