FORMERLY IN THE ROYAL NAVAL RESERVE (TRAWLER SECTION) AND CALLED UP AT THE OUTBREAK OF WAR. HE WAS DISCHARGED THROUGH ILL HEALTH. HE WAS LOST ON THE STEAM SHIP, “HAWK”, WHICH COLLIDED IN THE HUMBER. HE LEFT A WIDOW AND FAMILY. HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HDM ON 27/04/1916 WITH HIS PHOTOGRAPH. *
