Born Easington, 1896. Son of Arthur Young, of Eastrington, Howden, East Yorkshire. He had four brothers and a sister, Served in the 251st Royal Field Artllery, “C” Battery. Died 28 September 1918. Buried at Glaeeon British Cemetery, France. His brother, Percy served as Private, 186108, Durham Light Infantry.
