Born Hull 31 Mar 1888. Son of Richard Ibbetson (1865-1933) and Elizabeth Ibbetson (1868-1939), of 147, Bean Street, Hull (1911 Census), He had two brothers and four sisters. HE ENLISTED IN THE “HAWKE” BATTALION, ROYAL NAVAL DIVISION. KILLED AT GALLIPOLI, ON 20/06/1915, AGED 20. COMMEMORATED THERE AT THE HELLES MEMORIAL.
