BORN HULL 1888. SON OF GEORGE H AND JANE ALLHOUSE. ONE OF FIVE CHILDREN.

HE MARRIED AT SCULCOATES, HULL 1910. HIS WIFE FRANCIS KATE GELL (BORN 27 FEB 1887), LIVED AT 8 LORENZA TERRACE, DERBY STREET, HULL (CWGC ADDRESS). THEY HAD SIX SONS, JAMES ARTHUR, HAROLD, LEONARD, GEORGE HENRY, EDWARD STANLEY AND BENJAMIN FRANK ALLMAN. HE WORKED AS A COAL CARRIER.

ENLISTED HULL. SERVED AS LANCE BOMBARDIER, 169TH ROYAL FIELD ARTILLERY. DIED OF PNEUMONIA AND INFLUENZA, ON  25/11/1918, AGE 31. BURIED AT HULL WESTERN CEMETERY.

HIS WIDOW WAS AWARDED A WEEKLY WAR PENSION, ON 42 SHILLINGS, ON 2ND JUNE 1919.
