Argent, Albert Edward

Born Hull, 1879, Son of William Argent of, 9 Lily Avenue, Grange Street, Hull. He had two brothers, William and Arthur.

Married at St Pauls, Hull, on 1 Jan 1903.  Husband of Edith Hendler, at 14, Grange Street, Fountain Road, Hull. Worked as a Flour Mill Packer. Described as 5 foot, 5 inches tall, 113 lbs weight, 35-37 inch chest, fair physical development, wore spectacles.

Called up on 28th Feb 1917. Served with the 2nd Lincolnshire regiment. Transferred to (24049) 41st Coy. Labour Corps. Received bomb wounds, to leg and face. Died of wounds, on 31/01/1918, aged 39.
