HE MARRIED IN 1912. HIS WIFE CATHERINE SELLER BOOTH, AND DAUGHTER, DORA, LIVED AT 121, LEE STREET, HULL (CWGC  & WAR PENSION ADDRESS), AND 17, RUSTENBURG STREET, NEW BRIDGE ROAD, HULL. SERVED AS A ROYAL NAVY STOKER, FROM 20/06/1889. ENLISTED IN THE ‘HOOD BATTALION’, ROYAL NAVAL DIVISION, AT THE OUTBREAK OF WAR. KILLED IN ACTION, AT GALLIPOLI, ON 19/07/1915, AGED 33. BURIED IN AN UNUSED TURKISH TRENCH. COMMEMORATED ON THE HELLES MEMORIAL, TURKEY.

HIS NAME IS LISTED ON THE LEE STREET MEMORIAL, HULL. (HULL DAILY MAIL 19/07/1918). HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, ON 11/10/1915.
