HE SERVED AS A PRIVATE IN THE SOUTH WALES BORDERERS, AND WAS KILLED ON 11/10/1917, AGED 29. BURIED AT ETAPLES CEMETERY, FRANCE. HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, ON 31/10/1917. *
