BORN HULL 1896. SON OF JOHN HENRY BEAUTIMAN (1866-1939) AND BERTHA FOSTER (1873-1946), AT 95 BEAN STREET, HULL (1911 CENSUS) & 47, SPENCER STREET, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESS). SON OF A RAILWAY PORTER. ONE OF FIVE CHILDREN, LIVING AT THIS ADDRESS.
HE ENLISTED IN HULL, ON 6/12/1915. SERVED OVERSEAS, WITH THE 17TH NORTHUMBERLAND FUSILIERS (HULL RAILWAY PALS). DISCHARGED WITH SICNESSM ON 22/12/1917. AWARDED THE SILVER WAR BADGE (NO: 307054). DIED IN HULL ON 16/06/1920.
BURIED IN A CWGC GRAVE AT HULL WESTERN CEMETERY.
HIS ELDER BROTHER, PRIVATE, JOHN EDWARD BEAUTIMAN, 17/602, 2ND NFUS, WAS A RAILWAY PORTER. HE ENLISTED AT YORK & DIED OF WOUNDS, IN FRANCE, ON 04/11/1918, AGED 24.
