Beilby, George Sidney

Born 1883. Son of Nary Emma Cotton, of 21, Short Street, Canning Street, Hull (War Pension address). he was a Butcher by trade.

He enlisted in Hull. Served as Private, 375150, 11th Durham Light Infantry. Killed in action, on 22/03/1918, aged 35. Buried at Serre Road Cemetery, No: 2, Somme, France. His grave inscription, reads, TILL WE MEET AGAIN R.I.P.

his army effects were left to his mother.
