Black, James Robert

Born  Newcastle, 1892. Son of James and Jane Black at 16, Emma’s Terrace, Alexandra Street, Hull (War Pension address). A Professional Soldier before war began.

Enlisted 18th June 1910. Served in the 2nd East Yorkshire Regiment. Posted to France, on 15/1/1915. Transferred to the Labour Corps. Discharged on 25/04/1916. Awarded the Silver War Badge (No:50913). Died Christmas Eve 1925.
