BORN LITTLE WEIGHTON, 1893. SON OF MR FREDERICK WILLIAM BLOOMFIELD (1862-1934) & ELIZABETH WILLIAMSON (1850-1895), OF ROWLEY, LTTLE WEIGHTON, YORKSHIRE.

A FARM HAND IN BEVERLEY.

HE ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED AS A DRIVER IN THE 11TH ROYAL FIELD ARTILLERY, AMMUNITION COLUMN. DIED OF WOUNDS, ON 17/08/1916, AGED 23.

UNMARRIED HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS FATHER, FREDERICK.
HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, ON 23/08/1916 & 05/10/1916.

HE IS COMMEMORATED ON THE ROWLEY WW1 MEMORIAL, LITTLE WEIGHTON, EAST YORKSHIRE. 15 MEN DIED IN WW1 FROM THIS VILLAGE.
