S/S DURBAN: Built for Humber Steam Fishing & Ice Co., Hull (H378). In December 1914 vessel Rqd by the Royal Navy as an auxiliary vessel No FY 1209. In October 1915 returned to owners. In 1917 vessel Rqd by Royal Navy as a fishing trawler (Fishery Reserve). In 1919 vessel returned to owners. On 15/03/1919 the Hull trawler DURBAN (H378) posted missing:- Lost all hands (possibly mined) in the North Sea.
