Born Hull, 1896. Only son of John William Bolton and Mary Ellen Bolton (1869-1928), of 67, Westbourne Grove, Hessle (1911 Census) and 18, Portobello Street, Hull (War Pension address). Son of a Shipping Clerk & Book Keeper. He had two sisters.
Served as Sergeant, 32472, King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. Discharged on 30 May 1919. Die don 14/04/1924, aged 28.
