Born Hull, 1899. Son of James William Booth and Sarah Ann Burr (1879-1922), of 9, Staves Buildings, Porter Street, Hull. He had one brother, Leopold and three sisters.
Husband of Annie at 14, Ebor Place, Porter Street, Hull (1921 Census and War pension address). He had two step children and a son, Ernest Booth. After the war, he worked as a Hull Dock Labourer.
He enlisted on 23/5/1917. Served overseas, in the Northants Regiment. Discharged on 5/5/1919. Awarded the Silver War Badge for war aggravated sickness (Badge No: B243739); British War Medal and Victory Medal. Died at Hull, on 26/11/1927, aged 28.
