HUSBAND OF ANNIE, LIVING AT  5, HUMBER AVENUE, WEST DOCK STREET, HULL (NAVAL RECORDS ADDRESS).

HIS SHIP MATES CERTIFICATE WAS ISSUED 6TH JUNE 1895. THE TRAWLER ‘VIVANTI’ WAS BUILT IN BEVERLEY IN 1915 AND REQUISITIONED BY THE ROYAL NAVY AS A MINESWEEPER. IT WAS LOST IN THE ENGLISH CHANNEL WHEN IT FLOUNDERED OFF THE COAST OF HASTINGS ON THE 7TH MARCH 1916. 13 CREW WERE LOST.

ROBERT JACKSON BROOKS LEFT £60 TO HIS WIDOW ANNIE BROOKS, WHO WAS THEN LIVING AT 5 GLADYS AVENUE, WEST DOCK STREET (PROBATE ADDRESS). HE IS COMMEMORATED IN NORTH HULL CEMETERY (PLOT B6, GRAVE NUMBER 7825) & ON HULL’S TRINITY NAVAL MEMORIAL.
