Enlisted on 23/09/1914. Served in the Royal Naval Reserve, on the Yacht “Iolaire”. Lost when the ship, was wrecked off Stornaway, on 01/01/1919, aged 22. His war pension went to his mother and Annie Greenland, the mother of his child.
