HE ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED IN THE 1ST EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT. POSTED TOFRANCE, ON 08/09/1914. KILLED AT YPRES, ON 09/08/1915, AGED 29.
HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, ON 30/03/1917. HE IS COMMEMORATED ON THE MENIN GATE MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
