Born Beverley 1894. Eldest son of George and Lucy Buddle, of 2, George St., Beverley, Yorkshire. His father was a Tupee Dresser. He was employed as a business assistant. He enlisted in Beverley. Served as Private, 57010, Prince of Wales Own (West Yorkshire) Regiment. Was killed in action, on 14/08/1918, aged 24. He is commemorated on the Tyne Cot memorial. His army effects were left to his widowed mother, Lucy. He left siblings, Brenda, Alice, Enoch and Lucy Buddle
