Born Barton, Lincolnshire, 1865. Skipper, Henry Bust, was Captain, of the salvage steamer “Salvo N0:1”, which turned turtle in a gale, off Peterhead, Scotland, on 06/02/1915. He drowned with his son and four other crew. He left a grown up family at 8 Wilfred’s Terrace, Nornabell Street, Hull. His son was not married and aged 23. Their deaths were reported in the Hull Daily Mail, 09/02/1915. *
He left £847 in his will to his widow, Alice Ann Bust, at 2 Floral Grove, Perry Street, Hull (Probate address)
