Served in the East Yorkshire and Border Regiments. Transferred as Private, 148381, Machine Gun Corps. Discharged as disabled, on 18/06/1919. Awarded the Silver Badge (No: 518207). Died of wounds, on 16/01/1922. His army effects went to his mother, Catherine, at 6 St Stephen’s Square, Hull (Pension Ledger Address).
