Castle, Collin Ewart Gladstone

Born Ferryhill, Aberdeen, 1878. Son of Peter Cameron Douglas Castle and Mary Castle, of Aberdeen, husband of Hannah Lucy Castle, of 39, Waterdale, Doncaster. Native of Aberdeen. He enlisted in Hull.Served with the Royal Army Medical Corps, 24th General Hospital. Died of Bronchial Pneumonia, on 21/02/1917, aged 39.

Buried at Etaples Military Cemetery, France. His grave reads, HIS SWEET TO KNOW WE’LL MEET AGAIN WHERE PARTINGS ARE NO MORE

His army effects were left to his widow, Hannah Lucy and three children.
