HE ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED WITH THE 2/4TH KINGS OWN YORKSHIRE LIGHT INFANTRY. DISCHARGED ON 15 MAY 1919. DIED OF CONSUMPTION IN COTTINGHAM, ON 01/11/1920, AGED 34. BURIED AT HULL’S HEDON ROAD CEMETERY. HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE RECKITTS MAGAZINE.
